Smashed fingers, deep cuts, severe bruising, torn ligaments, and the like are no fun. But these are often avoidable with a few simple tips and tricks.

Our hands do a lot of work for us, probably even help you go through this blog. But you’d rarely think of getting your hands injured. However, talking of kids, especially in schools or daycare facilities, they put their hands in all sorts of compromising situations that can cause harm beyond your imagination.

Finger entrapment injuries are most common and are often caused by trapped fingers in the hinge or knob side of doors. Yes, doors are dangerous and lead to significant functional difficulties and deformities as well. Plus, each entrapment incident causes excruciating pain and distress.

Prevention is better than cure

Usually, activities like running, playing, climbing, exploring, etc. leave kids at the risk of injuries. Sometimes they get so playful that they even slam doors without thinking of the consequences. So how can you avoid related injuries? Keep these tips and tricks in mind, always:
